OUR GUYS
This is Rocky. His AKC name is Baron Von Rathskeller. He is a black and tan smooth coat. Rocky is a laid back kind of a guy. Following the recommendation of our vet, we have now had Rocky neutered, so no more puppies for him. But......he still thinks that all the puppies the girls have are his. He really likes puppies.
This handsome fuzzy guy is Chopper. He is a longhair cream. His favorite activity is chasing Bubba the bloodhound around the yard. Sometimes he even catches him!
Yes, we raise miniature dachshunds, and have a house full of them, but living on this old farm, it just seemed like we needed a big dog around the place. So....... we decided to go really big. Bubba is our Bloodhound. He is keeping our lives interesting, but he is neutered, so no bloodhound puppies will be forthcoming.

As you can see, he likes dachshund puppies.
Bogie is a chocolate and tan piebald wirehair, and having fun is what he is all about. He is a very people oriented dog. When I start to sit in my chair in the living room, more often than not, Bogie comes running and has already jumped in my lap before I even get all the way down to the chair.
And now we have Nitschke!!!!! Since Rocky can't have any more puppies, and we were always very happy with Rocky's puppies, it seemed right to get another black and tan. We really didn't get Nitschke because he looks so much like Rocky, but he really does. They even seem to think and act much alike. Now that Nitschke is grown up, it is hard to tell which is which without looking very closely. Nitschke has had one litter of puppies, and is looking forward to having more.
